    Oh no, I”m on this train, too. QB told me that I could keep Desktop, but just be prepared that they have done zero updates to it in the last few years, don’t intend to put any time/focus into it and would eventually drop it all together. It seems it is inevitable.

    Thanks for the replies, everyone. I”m still researching…I won’t get dinged for not having the SUIT # until March 15th, so I’m hoping to figure it out before then!

    Hello, I’m the Director of Finance for Camp Blue Skies. We offer camps for adults with developmental disabilities. We have been the recipient of several mulit-year grants AND moved to the accrual method of accounting (it’s a thing!) recently, so it’s been a lot for our Board to take in. And often in smaller nonprofits, being the acounting staff (of one) is a bit isolating. It will be nice to have a community to learn and share ideas about these advanced topics.

    You cannot use a google number, unfortunately. Or, actually, we have Grasshopper now, but it’s the same deal. It has to be a mobile number backed by a common carrier. Thanks for other info, though, I will check with our donor platform.
