Amanda Nelson, a seasoned marketing professional, currently holds the position of Director of Engagement within Nonprofit Financial Commons. Before assuming her current role, Amanda served as the Associate Director of Development and Marketing at YouthConnect – Boys & Girls Clubs Boston, she diligently built and maintained relationships with individual and institutional donors. Her role involved managing grant proposals, donor stewardship, event coordination, and crafting compelling content across various channels to highlight YC’s organization's impact.

Prior to her impactful stint at YouthConnect, Amanda honed her skills at The Nonprofit Quarterly, where she significantly contributed as the Marketing and Development Manager. During this time, she strategized and executed multi-channel marketing plans, enhancing the Leading Edge membership program and elevating magazine subscription sales through innovative campaigns and collaborations with cross-functional teams.
