Kate Barr, is the former President and CEO of Propel Nonprofits, a Minneapolis-based organization, currently serves as NFC Co-Founder and Strategic Advisor. With a mission to enhance the impact and effectiveness of nonprofits through guidance, expertise, and capital, Kate leads Propel's team in developing and implementing innovative financing and programming. She is renowned for her workshops and presentations on nonprofit strategy, finance, and governance, and contributes as a sector-level leader through articles, blogs, and policy papers. Prior to joining Propel in 2000, Kate held the position of senior vice president at Riverside Bank in Minneapolis, where she managed various strategic and business initiatives. Her professional journey began as the business manager of a performing arts nonprofit.
