Such relevant question! I have been an “interim” treasurer for our small nonprofit for five years. We didn’t set QB accounts properly initially, and then issues arose. Thanks for raising this question and to all that provided some guidance. I am also in the process of closing a small nonprofit in California that we founded six years ago.
