Payroll accounts for approximately two-thirds for our annual budget. Our organization has given mid-year budget recast inflation related adjustments to our field staff in Uganda and Zambia, where we realized staff, especially at the lower pay levels, were struggling. Employees below a certain threshold were received a larger percentage bump than those making more. We are currently in our annual budgeting process and are going to the market for updated salary surveys to help inform what we do for 2023. Hopefully we will have some more clarity before we have to finalized the budget in October.
